Passengers, when they fly, make embarrassing requests and are often rude. What are the torments of flight attendants?
Working in contact with the public is complicated and flight attendants know this well. Former hostess Shawn Kathleen, the creator of the famous Instagram account Passenger Shaming , recently collaborated with the travel website The Points Guy to produce a series of videos on "how to deal with travel with the maniacs in the sky". He told some really paradoxical personal experiences.
One of the videos, entitled "Stop Pushing the Call Button", describes in detail all the ways in which passengers abuse the function of the plane. What are they?
Continue to press the call button in a convulsive way : it is useful if a person is not well or has specific and above all urgent requests.
Ask to borrow personal headphones (if they are personal to the flight attendant they are not courtesy).
Ask if the flight is moving : if the journey is about two hours it is obvious that after 30 minutes the airplane does not float in the air but is traveling the route.
Ask for absurd things to drink or to eat : from the broth of bones to ordering complex coffees like those at Starbucks.
Ask your flight attendant for food. The hostess said that some colleagues were robbed of their country.
What state is it? Pointing out the window ... this is also an impossible question.
Ask the commander to check the game score
Deliver the flight attendants' dirty diapers. "It's just pee", justifying itself. But this is a double problem, because it means that the passenger did not change the diaper in the toilet and obviously he did it on the seat. It is not respectful to the hostess and is not hygienic to all passengers.
