This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and fast paced team in the Belfast site.
Futures, Clearing and Collateral (FCC) Operations manage all aspects of ETD and OTC products including trade management and clearing, break remediation, reconciliations and treasury and funding.  Our key interactions involve liaising with exchanges, brokers and counterparties including banks, pension funds, national governments, insurance companies and hedge funds located in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

In particular, this role sits within Reconciliations and on a daily basis we validate the accuracy of all trades, positions and cash on the firm’s records against external reporting. Our role means we work closely with colleagues in trade management, static data, treasury, client services and sales and trading giving you the opportunity to interact on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Prompt and accurate reconciliation of trades, positions and cash over a number of exchanges, brokers and afiliates
·         Liaising with reconciliations colleagues to provide prompt and meaningful feedback
·         Focus on high quality and accurate analysis of reconciliation integrity
·         Timely completion of reconciliations and reporting processes.
·         Assist management in identifying process or system enhancements
·         Compliance with internal and external control frameworks and regulatory requirements, notably CASS regs
·         Develop an understanding of derivative products and system flows
·         Help to create and build an environment of teamwork, supporting the Oversight team, wider FCC team and senior management
